Growing In Faith and Learning

'Growing in Faith and Learning' 'Life in all it's fullness' John 10:10

Welcome to St Leonard's CofE Primary School

Welcome to St. Leonard’s Church of England Primary School. We hope our website gives you a flavour of our vibrant, happy school and the achievements of our delightful children. We are a thriving church school in the picturesque village of Wigginton with a strong Christian ethos, growing in faith and learning. We passionately believe in developing the ‘whole child’ and ensure all children have the opportunity to reach their goals and shine in their own unique and wonderful way. Our kind, caring and dedicated team nurture, motivate and encourage our children to be confident and well-rounded members of their community. I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of St. Leonard’s, a place where children develop a passion for learning, feel good about themselves, are proud of their achievements and create lasting memories of friendship and connection in our school family. I warmly invite you to come and visit us at St. Leonard’s Mrs Kirsty Cullen, Headteacher.

Welcome

We are delighted to welcome you to our school and hope you can find all of the information you are looking for on our website- but if not please do not hesitate to contact us.

St. Leonard’s C of E (A) Primary School is a Church of England Aided School and Nursery situated in a picturesque rural location in the village of Wigginton, to the North of Tamworth.

It is a small, child-friendly school where everyone is committed to ensuring that all our children feel safe and valued so that they can learn and grow as individuals within our school family. There are 6 classes: Wrens (Nursery); Robins (Reception and Year 1); Kingfishers (Year 2); Owls (Years 3 & 4); Kestrels (Years 3 & 4) and Falcons (Years 5 & 6).

Our strong Christian ethos underpins everything we do and everyone associated with our school is committed to helping our children ‘Grow in Faith and Learning’.

Although we are a small school, we do BIG things and we love to get involved in lots of extra curricular activities both within our school and in the community. We also provide full wrap around care for children in our Ospreys before and After School Club from 7:45am until 5:10pm.
