Growing In Faith and Learning
Our topic for this half term is called Raging Rivers. We will be learning all about the journey of a river and how they effect the landscape. As part of our topic, we will be learning about the water cycle and the different states of matter. We will study how we have used rivers through history and why they are so important.
We encourage the children to read everyday and to make a note of any reading they complete in their reading records, which will be checked each morning.
The children will have a times tables test every Friday. The times table test will consist of multiplication and division facts.
A spelling test will take place every Friday. The spellings your child needs to learn will be brought home by them each week.
PE will be taught on a Tuesday and Thursday this Term. PE kit should consist of a white polo shirt, navy or black shorts for indoors and tracksuit bottoms for outdoors, a jumper or hooded top for outdoors and trainers or pumps suitable for physical activity. No jewellery should be worn on PE days.
