Year 6 SATs – May 2026
We would like to inform parents and carers that the 2026 Year 6 SATs are scheduled to take place from Monday 11 May to Thursday 14 May 2026.
These statutory assessments are taken by all pupils in Year 6 and are an important measure of progress at the end of Key Stage 2. The tests your children will sit are as follows:
English Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling (GPS)
English Reading
Mathematics – consisting of three papers:
• Paper 1 – Arithmetic
• Papers 2 and 3 – Mathematical Reasoning
Please find below a selection of resources designed to support Year 6 pupils in preparing for their end-of-year SATs assessments. These materials have been carefully selected to help consolidate key skills, build confidence and provide opportunities for independent practice across the curriculum.
